Graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Alberto is the Scientific Director of Sotacarbo. He has gained wide research experience in low carbon power generation technologies. He managed several national and international research projects focused on clean coal technologies and carbon dioxide capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). He represents Italy in the SET Plan Implementation Working Group on CCUS and he is also a member of the General Assembly of the CO2 Value Europe association and vice president of the CO2 Club Italia. Alberto is the author of more than 100 publications and collaborates as guest editor and reviewer with several international journals.
